Conan are as heavy as interplanetary thunder amplified through the roaring black hole anus of Azathoth. A three piece, in the grand tradition of many amazing fabulous three pieces that hold a tight line and an iron-grip command over the uber-synchronised chord changes and tempo-shifts of the holy trio of bass, drums and guitar. Two men have the task of vocalising wretched thoughts over the turgid weight of Conan. They bear it well, for the task is immense. Conan have committed their filthy, ocean-sized sound to wax (and the slightly less cvlt compact disc) twice thus farwith more fetid output always on the horizon. First came the hulking mass of debut album Horseback Battle Hammer (Throne, Aurora Borealis), followed by a split with like-minded sludge-lords, Slomatics (Head of Crom, Burning World). In December 2011 Conan returned to the remote wilderness of Foel Studio, Wales and into the capable hands of producer Chris Fielding for their next album which is to be released on Burning World Records in Spring 2012.

PAS are back with a new full length CD, 'Flanked By Woman and Pumpkins' (ALRN031). These 12 new, textured and experimental audio collages were developed during the year 2011 and are now finalized in CD form. 'Flanked By Women and Pumpkins' (ALRN031) was formed and influenced by PAS's April/May 2011 tour, which included their performances at the CoCArt Music Festival in Torun, Poland. Taking a more personal approach, field recordings (the sound of school children and animals) are now more frequent in this release. These recordings, act as an additive texture, enhancing a variety of multilayered and electroacoustic sounds. Adding to this engulfing, aural journey, 'Flanked By Women and Pumpkins' (ALRN031) includes a spur of the moment improv jam with Philippe Petit (recorded at HATI’s studio in Poland) as well as a collaborative track titled 'Volker Goes to Spain' with EHEIM 1000.220.

Finally we are graced with brand new material from Sweden's Gustaf Hildebrand, a few years after the epic Primordial Resonance album and his joint project with Amanda Votta, Lacus Somniorum. The Heliopause, the point outside our solar system where the solar wind ceases to be, transitioning into what is known as the Interstellar Medium and where our sun becomes just another pinprick of light amongst a billion others. If you were to find yourself stranded in such a place with nothing but a radio receiver, Gustaf Hildebrand imagines that this is what you would hear, low rumbling soundscapes interspersed with bursts of static, com-chatter and signal interceptions from a distant world. Vestiges of humanity bubble up from the ether, speaking encoded messages in the form of numerical combinations and long-forgotten cyphers, their true meanings lost or hidden away inside the memory banks of decommissioned satellites. The Floating World is the solo project of Amanda Votta. Begun in 2005, three albums have been released so far; Full Sturgeon Moon (Hand/Eye 2005), Unda (Barl Fire 2005) and River of Flowers (Foxglove 2006), appearing as well on a few compilations. Amanda has also collaborated with Gustaf Hildebrand in Lacus Somniorum, as well as with Far Black Furlong and New Risen Throne. She also has a band, Secrets to the Sea, with Neddal Ayad from Desolation Singers. The Apparition is Amanda Votta’s attempt to capture that moment when things are other than what they appear to be, when a sound is not just a sound, a voice not just a voice. The liminality of certain places, things, sounds, people, experiences—apparitions in their own right as they are neither here nor there—serves as inspiration for our endeavor to reach for that which we cannot see. Just as it was the sound of Iokanaan’s voice that transfixed Salome—the sound and the words—we have blended sound and words to mimic that experience. The Apparition takes its name from the painting by Gustav Moreau depicting the apparition of Iokanaan appearing before Salome—a vision only she sees, that exists in a space between that which we see and that which cannot be seen. On this album Amanda is joined by Neddal Ayad (Desolation Singers/Great Attractor), Timothy Renner (Stone Breath) and Nicole Votta. Drifting, minimalistic ambiances are overlaid by The Floating World's signature flutes, combining to weave soundscapes that are as dreamlike as they are melancholic. Upon the good connections to the US music scene Bullfrog got a second singer from Chicago. Timothy „Tim“ Gainer with his multifaceted and clear singing a real counterpoint to the raspy voice of the leader Gerd Hoch. NODRAMA is a Basque metal band formed in Bilbao during the year 2005. After being involved in different projects and knowing each others from the basque underground scene, Nikola Goñi (Drums), Xabier Altzugarai (Bass), Iker Llona (Guitars), Koldo Gorozika (Guitars) and Aimar Antxia (Vocals) decided to explore a new ground under the name of NODRAMA. NODRAMA started to write songs and to improve older tracks and decided to do some shows to present the band in members' city and around. After a good reaction from a lot of people, NODRAMA recorded 3 songs to spread some copies, the response was very positive. That situation motivated the band to start recording a self-produced demo in its rehearsal room. NODRAMA reached a good sounding work of 10 tracks to offer an attractive demo entitled "I Mind". This demo has been edited in April 2008 and received a great response from both people and press, getting really great reviews in the most important webzines and magazines dedicated to rock music from Spain. All these experiences gave the chance of having better shows, such as playing big acts with artists like Whitesnake, Cynic and important bands from the Basque and Spanish scene and let NODRAMA improving the way of playing live and finding more and more comfortable together. After doing a last show promoting "I Mind" in its city, with a great answer and support from a lot of people, the band focused in the writing process for new songs that will compose the first album. A new chance to grow as a band and songwriters, really focused on the idea of improving the songs quality from the "I Mind" demo and involving everything they want to show in their songs: anger, melody, catchy choruses and direct lyrics, but always having the idea of making an easy to listen music. The band finds a sound that´s still fresh and original but also familiar for anyone who listens, who will find lots of different ways of understanding music in the NODRAMA songs.

In 2011 RISE TO FALL toured in Japan on three memorable sold out concerts. At the end of 2011 new album production begun with well known producer Ettore Rigotti (Disarmonia Mundi, Blood Stain Child, Destrage, etc...) at The Metal House Studio (Italy).

The album “Misery” by The New Low marks the return to Schizophrenic Inc. and the style that drew attention to the label was something new and interesting in the Scandinavian hardcore/metal scene. The band combines the rock ‘n’ roll hardcore sound of J.R. Ewing, the bleak and depressive sound of Gallows and finally the “don’t give a fuck” attitude of metallic rock ‘n’ core band Every Time I Die and the vocal parts of Blacklisted.

This split had some of the most brutal hardcore acts in Denmark teaming up for a split release. The music is anti-christian and deals with parts satanic lyrics, but also more hardcore styled lyrics such as atheism and rejecting established religion in general. The band Foot To Face moved on in an even more metallic direction and in consequence thereof changed their name to The New Low. When Midnight Kills slowly disbanded a year after the release of this split.
When Midnight Kills was an all-star act with members from Spinkick and As We Fight, both from Fredericia. Foot To Face changed their name to The New Low, and has continued their evolvement and creation of unique sounding Danish hardcore.
