13 ROUNDS

Band:VIJAY KISHORE
Album:13 ROUNDS
Label:Abh Music
Format:CD
Genre:Alt Rock

Much acclaimed Brummie singer/Songwriter Vijay Kishore`s self produced debut album `13 ROUNDS...` aims to build on the critical plaudits he  has amassed thus far .13 Rounds`s sees Kishore build on his trademark acoustic sound and songs about love and loss with a host of instrumentation and guest musicians ( from cello to sitar) .A more than worthy introduction to the man and his music which should see his stock rise even further.

"..brilliant, brilliant songs. Like a brummie Jeff Buckley singing the words of Nina Simone. Vijay`s luscious acoustic folk is as divine as Simon Cowell in a motorway pile-up." - NME

THIRD FROM THE SUN

Band:CHROME
Album:THIRD FROM THE SUN
Label:Noiseville
Format:CD
Genre:Post Punk

Chrome is legendary. Period. Back in the late 70’s and early 80’s, their unique style of tripped out psych-wave made them one of the most popular bands to come out of post-punk scene in California. The brain child of the late Damon Edge and guitar legend Helios Creed, Chrome albums are often cited as major influences to just about every band that has come since. Noiseville is proud to put 3 classic Chrome albums out on CD (this, as well as “Alien Soundtracks” and “Half Machine Lip Moves”, which will be available through Code 7 next month), and each features the original art from the initial release, as well as beefed up remastered audio. Can’t ask for much more than that now, can you?

PICCADILLY SUNSHINE PART ONE

Band:
Album:PICCADILLY SUNSHINE PART ONE
Label:Past And Present
Format:CD
Genre:Psych/Garage Reissues

Before Psychomania found a limited amount of fame and even less of a fortune curating the
widely-respected Electric Asylum series, he cut his musical molars on the little-known Piccadilly
Sunshine series, which took the wide-eyed aficionado into the deep and wondrous valleys of
British Pop music culture. Daring to bring forth the once overlooked and sadly neglected songs
that were laid to waste in a saturated wonderland of suburban teenage pop, Psychomania asks
the listener to join him as he tiptoes barefoot through the late 1960s and early `70s in Great
Britain’s vast and glorious cultural waste paper basket. Stepping amongst the twenty flowerpowered
trippers presented here, together we shall lovingly restore them to their former glory.
